During the school year, High School meets every Wednesday night for youth group from 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the Youth Building. High schoolers are also encouraged to attend main service worship on Sunday mornings and find a place to serve somewhere in the church.

We will honor our Senior class of 2024 with a banquet on May 17! We will be celebrating with dinner as well as a guest speaker, music by our very own youth worship band and more. Please RSVP with the number of attendees by April 26th to Kim Cline at kiminyakima@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
We are excited to announce we are bringing back one of the most loved and favorite outreach events, Real Life Rocket League with all the car soccer action! The gospel message will be presented, so invite friends to come and hear the most important message they could ever hear – God loves them and has made a way for them to be made new and to have life in Him. Mark your calendar and get ready for an awesome night of fun and truth!
Last year we had an apologetics night on Thursdays called Hot Topics that we saw great benefits from. So, we are excited to announce that we are bringing Hot topics to the third Wednesday (normal times) and a bonus the next day with Extra Hot topics Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm each month. The Wednesday will be dedicated to a specific topic on apologetics and theology, with Thursday being a time to follow up on the topic from the night before; as well as an opportunity to unpack questions the students have submitted via QR code. Together we will go to God’s word to find the answers. The goal of these nights will be to walk students through the truth of God’s word answering tough questions while understanding important biblical truths. We hope the takeaway from these nights will be that the students feel equipped with the truth of God’s word as they go out into the world.
We are excited to announce that are going to Summer Camp as our big youth event this year! We are partnering with 5 local churches for this camp. It will be hosted at the Double K Retreat & Adventure Center and is open to students 6th through 12th grade. This year’s theme is “Base Camp: Where the Journey Begins.”
The week will consist of awesome and insightful teaching, worship, message, and activities with the goal of strengthening students’ faith. Our speaker is Dennis Dean, the lead pastor of Moses Lake Baptist Church. Worship will be led by Janelle Showalter of the Cross Church. The camp will be jam-packed with fun activities and will be a summer students will not forget!
At West Side Youth it is our goal to come alongside our missionary partners (those who we support as a church) to serve, encourage, and learn from them. This year we are excited to announce that we are partnering with Pastor Josh Ryan in Othello to serve the community of Othello through service and the sharing of bible stories in the park. The goal of this trip will be to sow the love of Jesus through service and will give students a taste of what short term missions looks like.
