This year we will be doing the Flying H Youth Ranch Christmas gifting a little different due to COVID issues. Instead of taking a name off the Christmas tree to purchase a gift for a child or adult, we will be receiving cash gifts that will be given to Flying H to distribute equitably to each family. There are 45 staff & family members at Flying H. Our goal is to raise $50 per individual or a total of $2,250 to supplement each family’s Christmas budget. We will start receiving cash gifts from Nov 1-Dec 13. Checks should be written to West Side Church designated for “Flying H Christmas”. Cash gifts are welcome too but will need to be in an envelope designated “Flying H Christmas.” Since these gifts will be distributed to individuals, the gifts are not tax deductible. Flying H Ranch is a faith-based ministry to troubled teen boys founded in 1962 located in the Nile Valley. The staff are all on missionary support and we have been doing the Flying H Christmas Tree for many years to encourage them in their ministry.
